About me

James Allen Washington, a native of Rochester, NY graduated from the Conservatory at Point Park University, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in dance.

His choreography/teaching credits include: Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Slippery Rock University, Cleveland School of the Arts, Houston Met Too Youth Company, Broadway Dance Center and Lifetime Television.

James was the male recipient of the "Brazzy Award" given for outstanding achievement in the field of dance.

James is a proud member of Actors Equity Association and is currently a full time faculty member with the national touring dance convention, Revel.

He is represented by MSA as a dancer, educator & choreographer.

James was a choreographer and dance teacher for the Abby Lee Dance Company, the studio made famous by the Lifetime show, "Dance Moms".
